Ello Ello.....there's a site in France that we were thing of reserving ahead of our trip, as there is a festival happening in the town and 'maybe' it will be difficult getting a pitch.
So went on-line to book and the prices are reasonable for a couple of nights, however, there is a 32 euro booking fee.:Eeek: on top of the quoted cost.

Is this normal? Do you get this money back? Should I not bother booking online and take a chance on just showing up?

We really want to stay in the town for this festival, so want to be sure.

Anyone come across this before please!

You would be better joining France passion , free sites and you'll save your 30£ joining fee straight away that is provided there is one near where you want to go.
