Hi everybody. I've really missed all the posts over the last couple of weeks, not having wifi access. Anyway, we're here in Briancon and I have access for just one day and it just feels so homely. Yesterday we set for Montgenevre and I can't tell you how scary it was. We got to near the top and at the thought of having to climb back up in a day or so, I pleaded that we turn and go back down. Tomorrow we are setting off for Grenoble before wending out way up to Nancy, then Metz and then the Moselle Valley. I would be grateful if somebody could tell me what the road is like between here and Grenoble since I may have to steel myself for another climb.
