We stopped at one of the free wilderness parks in Lapland. The facilities were great including a nice communal hut and fire. We parked our motorhome in one of the small lawned areas surrounded by trees, very private just a shame a 1000 mosquitos joined us.
Some of the parks are designed for day only use but some are overnight.
On the communal wall a notice saying you can now fish in the nearby river. You just need to phone for a 24 hour fishing license at cost of €11. They confirm your license via a text. We are not really in to fishing but thought it seamed easy to do and worth sharing.
