not long enough
surely you would rather not pay for camp sites than can't afford them??

try Britstops but you will need to invest a few £'s for the book

failing that try asking a pub that suits your location, they may not mind you staying overnight, but you might need to buy some beer

somehow can't see you avoiding the hand in pocket somewhere, unless you can park on their drive (y)

If you look in the 'resources' section there should be a list of pub stopovers as kindly complied by @keith (haven't checked it but thats what it says in his profile info:D)

The Guinea at Moggerhanger has a relatively large car park, but I've no idea about its attitude to stopping overnight. Good food, though! I don't know of anywhere close to Biggleswade.

Hi.
Banks Grain dealers, used to have a couple of Silos at the side of the A1 at Sandy, next to the railway track, used to n/out there often when that way,its free and there used to be a cafe opposite.
Coming North, the Silo/yard is on the right hand side, this was some years ago,but i doubt if it has changed much,Google it.
Tea Bag
Edit. If you get your unit positioned just right,so the silo is between you and the rails.you cannot hear a thing

We found the cock pub in Broom near Biggleswade very accommodating, they have a large camping field at the back
.... countryside, lakes, walks, Jordan's mill, old warden airdrome, Swiss gardens, plenty to do
You have to do the loo first thing before pub opens though,
but water on hand anytime as you are on a field the black water keeps the grass green .... Happy days
