No, not travellers but those who park with an assumption to entitlement.
Best described as piss takers.
Normally these idiots cause the erection of height barriers and over zealous parking restrictions for all.
Normally to be found in Lincolnshire seaside car parks...........

But not now, they have put in height barriers and now no motorhome can visit!

I have always maintained that the "traveller" "freeloader" "Itinerant" type have their way of life , But this has nothing to do with what we as members of this site hold dear to us, a code of conduct, its called Motorhoming, and we, all decent folk and more importantly members, to which that type would never subscribe, differentiate between us (decent folk) and them scum.

Almost all of the Funsters use the term as a bit of a joke in a light hearted manner...

Almost all... as you can tell from this thread, one or two use it in a horrid, insulting way but they don't worry me!

I do not normally stay on campsites... I live fulltime in my van and have done for nearly 30 years. I have never been asked to move on by anyone.

Off-Site living is so much nicer for me...

And the"re all parked up in the bus station adj Lidl and Tescos,no wallowing around on sludgy campsites.
Most of the caravans and cars/vans etc are of a very high quality and they're parked up very tidily, in the meantime the tour buses are having to park on a industrial site

I'll have you know that up until a couple of years ago, I worked up to
6 hours a week almost each week for six long summer months in Bath AND I lived in my van on the streets there without problems or disturbing anyone.

Since retiring I have been able to take it a little easier though...

Ah JJ I am a newcomer to M'homing and completely jealous that you get to do travel full time. Bath is a lovely place to visit/work/live. Good to hear you are now free to travel anywhere, anytime

Quite few "free loading " funsters in maroc this year doing their bit just the same as the rest of us so don't be to hasty critisieing other people doing it their way . STAN. Similar to jj been traveling and living inour van 25 years and only the ocational campsite could'nt afford it otherwise .
