NO ! First thing first: BUY it , then take it back home and do the papers and THEN .... IF papers are ok then starting expenses on it such as cambelt! It will hold on till then or get on a trail back home lol !

No time to spend on thing like that now . JJ said it will be OK so .... just being confident and ...;time will tell!

Well.

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

Temporary number plates and insurance sorted.

All items checked to be working except for one thing.

We set off for the 180 kms trip to Strasbourg airport where they have an Avis Car Rental.

First stop for a late lunch... (Burger King of course... I've been a good boy).

Frankie loves the Hymer more each second...

It is getting dark as the car rental is dropped off but now for the first time the plan is complete... We are both in the same vehicle and on the road... Brilliant.

Being free spirited and free loading off site tossers we pull into a French motorway service station and settle down for the evening (after spending €35 on supplies in the shop... what a pair of spongers hey!).

This van is cute... comfortable... and everything just works...

And, of course, it is her van so I am not allowed in the kitchen...

"Where is my coffee?"

Guess what the one thing we have found on the van that doesn't work...

We are not home yet, nearly 1000 kms away but will be home tomorrow i would think. Taking our time .... It s hols after all!!!! Everything is just brillant and i enjoy every minute...just in case they never give me the papers!!!..
