3 months and loving it
We are going back to France for the last two weeks of August. Lst year we booked sites but the best nights we had were on Aires or sites we found off the beaten track.

I am thinking of joining the france passion scheme so as we can combine this with the above with no need to book sites and would welcome any feedback on it.
We have not decided where to go yet but probably Loire, Dordogne, Carcossone, languedoc and then back.

3 glorious years, previous 18 a Tugger!
Hi Locky

Friends and I are off for our first forray with Motorhome that is into France.

Have read up a lot on the Passions and after bought the book, it looks like a great deal to me for these stop-overs, have looked up most of them on Google Maps and streetmap where possible.

Will be heading through Versillies for a week fist in the last week of July then will be heading south via Dijon to the Tarn valley for a furhter three weeks, hoping to use Aires and Passions and the odd wildcamp all the way :thumb:

Trust you will have fun, we may find the same roads!

Take Care

We've been in France Passion for about 4 years now - absolutely great!

We've stayed at beautiful places - no pressure to buy anything - very friendly people - quiet sites.

Our favourite is Domaine de Chateau Guynot - south of Saintes, north of Bordeaux - cognac producer that makes the most amazing cognac based bubbly - to die for!!:thumb:

Hi there, I was interested to see your mention of Domaine de Chateau Guynot as it's our first year with France Passion and note that it was in the 2007 book but isn't in the 2010 book, do you think they don't take motorhomes overnight now?

We love the France Passion system and have stayed in some great places, you do feel an obligation to buy something if available but we didn,t mind. The only downside for us personally ,we have 2 dogs and most of the sites we were on had their own dogs which can be a little territory dominant so keep your own under strict control
