We go on 7th June as MH virgins in a rented vehicle and now I find out it`s D Day 70th anniversary on 6th
Does anyone have any idea if it`s likely to be mega busy driving through Normandy, and sites / aires all full up ? hope not, could do without traffic jams etc.
I`ve no idea how well attended these events are.

We are booked on Eurotunnel on 10th May and will be spending the first week at a campsite near Mont St Michel :thumb:

We are hoping to visit Mont St Michel on our way back to Caen, what site are you planning to use?

We are off on the 15th May for six weeks, Black Horse farm on the 14th dinner in the pub.
No real fixed plans yet but if the weather is good perhaps Ypres and do a little around Passchendaele for a couple of days. Might go across to Amboise for the Brass band Festival but also fancy the Romantische Strasse again. Who knows.

Quite fancy Switzerland again but 3 vignettes (van, trailer, bike) getsa bit heavy.
