I get to visit France every year and usually a couple of times each year but of late I've felt there was something very fundamentally French that was missing but I couldn't lay my finger on what it was..... until one day earlier this month.
I was walking through the cobbled streets of Dinan and passed another guy and suddenly............. I had it!
Gualoises and Gitanes
I have memories of catching that whiff almost everywhere but not for a long time since. I guess it goes with berets and strings of onions, also now a rare sight.
