Four new aires video's (1 Viewer)

Just posted 4 new videos to YouTube.

Two are aimed at motorhomers going through the tunnel for the first time as there have been quite a few threads asking about aires close to Calais and fuel stations.





The other two are small village aires in very different parts of France.
Fanjeaux is a hill top village to the south west of Carcassonne:-



La Madeleine-Bouvet is a tiny place miles into the countryside between Chartres and Alençon with a lovely lake:-

Since I first put a video of Sancoins on YouTube there have been some changes in the town, which mean that one of the main streets is now one way but in the opposite direction.
That meant a new video for this very popular aire, one of our favorites.

Just had a look on google earth and it looks a fab place for fishing and does it look like it has toilets at the entrance.?

Sancoins aire lovely place , gets busy when we there in August there was 47 moho's & several on the other side of the canal.

This is us ,facing the opposite way

Yes, there are public loos by the entrance, never looked in them though.
Lots of people fish there and there are nice walks along the old canal tow path.

Always busy in the summer and it gets really full late afternoon.
Most of them leave in the morning so there is usually plenty of space if you get there early.
Tha aire and services used to be over the other side of the canal and lots of folk still stop there.
