Hi Funsters
Would suggest everyone avoids the area around the Forth Road Bridge and Kincardine Bridge for at least 24 hours. Forth Road Bridge is closed completely for work to be carried out on some steel structures. The Kincardine Bridge has just been partially closed at 9.30a.m. and there is 11 mile tailbacks, absolute chaos! Better staying away from the area until further notice.

Guess you are going to let the train take the strain for a while if you want to go into Edinburgh.

Is that all? Earlier this year the Newport Bridge over the Tees was closed for months when structural damage was found when a repainting job was being undertaken.
The Middlesbrough Transporter bridge was also closed for part of that time. Mind you, over the last few years it would be less trouble to find out when it was actually open, it closes because of high winds if somebody as much as sneezes.
