We have just purchased our first motorhome and are looking forward to using it, however it only comes with the instructions for the fridge! We have no idea what half the switches do, or how to fill things or where and how the water is heated etc etc.

Has anyone got any instruction manuals? It is OK trying to learn by exploration and experimentation but there are limits!

Any help most appreciated.

Let me be the first to say Welcome to the fun mrsjohn,dont worry someone will be along shortly to help,probably someone has the same van as you,get along to one of the meets,we found them a very helpful bunch(when they were sober)

hi Mrsjonah and welcome,

nothing wrong with experimenting.
flick a switch, see what it does:thumb:

one word of warning.....make sure there is water in the boiler/water heater BEFORE trying to find the switch or lighting on gas.
if theres no water in it then it will blow the element or in the case of gas...the boiler itself.:Sad:

just run the hot tap 'til just water comes out, no air and spluttering.:thumb:

Thank you all for your help. Today we are spending day on it (I have been away for week) - cleaning, filling water, putting new gas bottle and battery etc and then we can play with the switches!
