Just had a thought, we should make the old bus an honorary member and run a thread with sightings as it travels the UK with its new owner, I am sure quite a few of us will bump into it on our travels

The van was done 8 yrs ago last October and was in the old forum garage -got lost in transition to new style forum -pics are on ebay add in link

No idea about Chester -I could be in the BUS LINK or the little Caddy maxi or in a Fiat type van --I may have something completely different All depends on what I can get at the right price IF I am in a half converted van or the Caddy I will be round at yours for coffee
We are starting a bus /shed conversion tomorrow so my own will have to take a back seat or it may jump the Que-think the bus will be done in 3 weeks ish leaving me just enough time to do mine

When we bought our first van we were all in at our asking price,and new sod all about motorhomes other than what we had read in Motorhome monthly magazine !
The seller like you was genuine and offered to throw in everything in the van pots pans cutlery etc,I joked about leaving the tv and he did !
When we got home we looked at what we had we counted ourselves lucky, the pots and pans were a much better quality than the ones in mrs Vlads cupboards .
Just goes to show that when buying a van it's not all doom and gloom there are many genuine sellers out there.

By the way Terry that's as good as a coach built Mh any day,doesn't in any way look like a conversion.

Hi Jim I changed it to deposit taken and then all the pics disappeared -No idea why ? I did not remove them but wondered if ebay would have done that OR if my account has been hi jacked or something -No idea how to contact ebay other than a American number and I am not ringing that ---Cannot find how to contact them through site or email -Will remove add once van is paid in full -Buyer is transferring money from NZ into my account or if not it takes 5 days for him to get cash

Hi All she is SOLD to a nice man from NEW ZEALAND who intends to tour in her for 6/9 mths -I felt guilty when he asked very politely if I would accept 10k instead of the advertised price of 10.5k or offers -I told him I would and then knocked him another £250 off (9750)I also asked him what he had kit wise and when he said nothing I told him I would leave leave all pots, pans etc in for him.so it was ready to use -He said anything would be good -Got him a couple of bath sheets,pillows and a quilt along with a create of stella--all he needs now is foodVan is half full of diesel and 2 full gas bottles -Spent a couple of hours yesterday emptying all our personal stuff (time to recycle Ann's gear from the van--getting emotional-did not think I would) you don't realize just how much stuff you accumulate -my front room is getting like my garage
I did not bother emptying the van because I was still using it and honestly did not mind keeping her if she did not sell -Only Caddy and transit to go now -Pauls bought a car so Caddy is up for sale proper (may be sold if interested party turns up) and transit is at Durham on a forecourt so fingers crossed I may be M/H-less for a few weeks
