I have a folding petrol scooter it has been at the back of the garage for ages gathering dust it is a European World pull start 50cc 2 stroke runs and rides ok but has faulty light/ignition switch so I by passed it this is not road registered.

Noticed that many motorhome owners and caravan owners I the Pennines used these a lot last summer with no issues..

I looked on a parcel site but the max was 20 kgs the scooter is 25kgs the other thing was fuel but I could easy drain the tank.

I would be happy to pay for courier . My Hermes seems to be the best .i could probably arrange collection by them if you can pack it somehow.. Sorry to be a pain .Roy

Just checked my Hermes only do upto 15kg but parcel force do upto 25kg..

because of the size, weight and type of article, it would need to be palletised. fairly cheap from interparcel.com

Parcel force: Not sure about prohibited items as oil, engine, gearbox and tyres are all on the list.

They are not road legal, they come under the same rules/laws as a moped/scooter. You might get caught, you might not
If you are a licence holder, you will get your licence endorsed, if you get caught

great fun, but off road

They are trying to sting me for a £57 over charge, for an (alleged) undeclared overall area of 5.5 inches, on an item I had sent from A.N.Other Funster.
Needless to say, that I am in dispute with them, having received a threat of court proceedings.
