I like to have the cab window of our 04 Fiat Ducato open a couple of inches as we drive along but seem to get more and more fly's in the MH as a result. I am trying to buy/make some sort of flyproof contraption that I can safely fit into the open part of the window similar to this....

Current thinking is a strip of perspex cut to fit with a stepped edge to sit on top of the widow glass. Put as many big holes in the perspex as I can whilst retaining rigidity and then glue some window mesh over the face of the perspex OR keep the perspex intact and drill as many small holes as I can in it .

Anyone any idea if such a fitting is out there or ideas on making one?
