What a dreadful, dreadful state of affairs !!!!!! We were evacuated from Les Frenes Camping in Biot less than 3 weeks ago due to major storms and flooding. The campsite victim last nite was on the site just opposite called Camping du Pylone !!!!

Any funsters down south of the A8 Le Arcs that we know off ? :frowny: 16 killed so far, lots in their cars. I have a friend currently down that end but nearer Aix I think.

Thanks for the link, still reeling over the news ! Given the speed with which it rose a few weeks ago I can see how it surprised people. Wld maybe make me think twice about staying in Les Frenes in our Sept hols from now on I think. Just hope the toll doesn't rise much more :(
