There is a bewildering selection of worm & flea treatments available.

I am the happy new owner of a 2 year old Jack Russell so what should I go for ?

Also, will I need any particular brand of tapeworm tablet to confirm with regulations on bringing my dog back into UK after our upcoming european trip ?

Thanks in advance:thumb:

We use Advocate flea treatment, a scaribo collar for tick prevention and take drontal wormer tablets with us when we go to France and the vets are ok with this. They have to give the wormer to your dog before they stamp the passport:Smile:

We use Advocate here in UK and Milbemax for the worming. Used to use Drontal but Vets started Lindiwe on Milbemax.

When we go abroad we use Advantix because it covers more things. Milbemax also ok for returning to UK.

Advocate doesn't cover ticks but Advantix does.

Still trucking and learning
We use Advantix because, as well as ticks and fleas, it also covers sand flies (prevalent in the Med. and other areas) which cause leishmania. We also use Drontal.
