How are your batteries flat, don't they charge while driving?

Won't 2 in series give you 24v sounds wrong to me?

At first a bit concerned about the batteries being in series - but then noticed you're an RV so presumably it's a 24 volts system. Can't help much but I wouldn't have thought a 24v charger would do a 12v battery much good. And yes, it has been known for batteries to "die" after 12 months, usually because they've been mistreated, been left fully discharged etc. Again I'm no expert but I should think a competent auto electrician doing a few checks will be able to sort it out for you. Good luck.

When you say keeps tripping???do you mean the mains supply keeps tripping?? Ie earth trip or overload ie fuse /breaker..Just don't understand the bit about the leisure circuit and sarent. Sorry if that's a dumb question.
Andy.

So a 12 volt system which means batteries are in parallel.
For any diagnostics you simply need a voltmeter or you will get nowhere

Start by seperating the batteries and measure the voltage of each, they should be the same. Any significant difference will show one is or has failed
It's also possible that the charger fuse has blown if it has been trying to charge a knackered battery
