If I buy a number of Flashing LED's and joining them all up to a 12v supply, will they work?

Is there an easy way of doing it, remember that I have very little electrical knowledge..

    Yes, no reason why not.

There are lots of ways to do it, it all depends on what they are for and where they are going.

What type are you looking at?
If it's the ones advertised as 12v flashing LED's that have a built in resistor you can just connect as many as you like in parallel.

If it is individual LED's you will need a current limiting resistor in series with them you can put a resistor in line with each LED and then paralell them, or if running on 12v you could put up to 6 LED's in series with a single current limiting resistor feeding them.

Typing that when your second post went up so you want ones like this you can connect as many as you like straight to your 12v supply.

I wonder if @eddievanbitz could get a Growler specially programmed for Dave so that it played Swing Low Sweet Chariot whenever he set it.
