Im a newbie
left fixed bed in the raised position went to check on it today pressurised struts appear to be stuck any advice as to how to free them cheers:thumb:

I know this may sound daft, but is there a saftey strap that you need to undo first before dropping the bed down ?

sometimes you have to lift the bed to drop it.
some cars had a similar thing on the bonnets to stop the wind dropping them on your head.

thanks for replies guys but it seems to be the actual struts that holds bed up that have jammed

What about a sharp tap with a hammer, it might unstick whatever it is inside that is stuck?

You could always try getting use to a different sleeping position. Problem solved !!!

Just a idea try left the bed up and the let down ,The reason I say this on the side of my motorhome the side cabinets which have gas struts and have stuck when ive left them up for some time so I lift them up to break the lock and the shut down then :Doh:
