My PVC is based on a Renault Master van which has a a series of raised strengthening ridges running across the roof.

This makes the use of the standard type of bracket unusable at the ends or corner of the panel, If used at the side the length of the contact between bracket and roof would be quite small due to the small width of the raised sections.

Can anyone offer me a suitable method of fixing these panels to such a roof?

2 lengths of aluminium angle, suitable length screwed to several ridge points to support your solar panel/s.

    Regards

How come your user name has changed djchapple ?

Same idea as Sinbad but I would use U section on it's side.. this give you two faces for fixing with access to the fixing nuts..
