fitting a top box to a 1990 kon tiki (1 Viewer)

i would like to fit a top box to my 1990 kon tiki it has a roof rack but no roof raills just the slats on the rack roof rails are very expencive cheers

you could glue (sikaflex) and screw a frame to the roof and fix the box to that but the frame would be permenent.

the drag produced by a top box is quite considerable and will affect your fuel consumption..could you not fit a back box ?

thanks for your advise i might try that but it would have to be weather proof wood as we get a lot of rain aberdeen and even snow this week cant fit a back box as mh would not fit on my drive way cheersl

perhaps a removable box on a fiamma bike rack at the back.

the rack would fold up when not in use.
