We are off on Monday for a 10 day tour around Wales.

Nothing special there for most of you ............except that it will be our first time trip in a M/H. :Smile:

We have hired a Hymer Exsis and weather permitting will have an enjoyable tour through Brecon, up to Snowdonia and then Anglesey.

I have some sites planned but any recommendations would be appreciated. We plan to stay on sites with all facilities due to our virginity but still hopefully where we can enjoy the scenery.

Can't wait:Smile::Smile::Smile:

MrJinks,

Good luck on your maiden drive & may you have lots of fun & drink lots of tea.
Go & enjoy yourselves & look forward to all the parking problems motorhomes have to put up with here in the UK.
After all, the UK is the least motorhome friendly country in Europe.

On the brighter side: think of the freedom, the scenery & the enjoyment of not knowing where you are going to go or what lies ahead of you.

Have fun & the most important thing to remember with a motorhome, is it's a full-time rolling tea wagon. Stop & enjoy a cuppa whenever you can.
If MrsJinks starts complaining about the amount of stops, just tell her you need to make sure the gas is working okay & all that driving makes you thirsty :ROFLMAO:

Happy Travels ::bigsmile:

Snowdonia & North Wales

You really should visit Beddgelert, it's a place well worth visiting.

On your way to Beddgelert do a night at Portmadog, Blackrock Beach is brilliant, you can drive onto the sand and have lunch/tea as you watch the waves. ::bigsmile:
Blackrock camp is great, ask for "Wendy".

Black Rock Caravan And Camping Park , Porthmadog Campsite

If you're on Anglesey you should go and see South Stack lighthouse, breath taking scenery and views.
Camping and Caravan Parks in Trearddur Bay, Anglesey, North Wales. Close to beach.

Good luck & Have fun.
