First Time To France (1 Viewer)

We're off to France in 2 weeks for the first time and are a little apprehensive, we are planning to go on some toll roads, can anyone tell me how you pay i.e do you have to pay in change or card or are they manned so change is given?

You could have a look at that. We usually pay cash,but have debit card handy just in case.

It was our first time too a few years ago (in a campervan) and felt the same as you but when you get there at the toll booths its very straight fwd i think, there are the options of how to pay before you actually get to the booth, so just get in the correct lane of which way to pay you prefer, always remember to drive on the opposite side of the road lol, you would be surprised of how many forget especially when you have alot on your mind.

Don't worry about tolls! quite intuative when you get there....certainly not worth getting vexed about in advance

Having some euro change helps
