Buying one soon
Hello, my husband and I are planning to buy a motorhome and embark on a three month trip in Scandinavia, Germany, Italy, Austria and France (this route may change) from August this year. We recently had a wee boy who will be 9 months when we set off. I'd love to hear any tips on travelling with babies as we have no clue!

make sure his car seat fits securely before deciding to buy. bunk bed, lower, easier to put a safety rail or net on. check push chair/buggy can be stored and retrieved easily. top bunk good for all his paraphernalia. if intending to utilise front seat for junior make sure air bag can be turned off.then get out there and have a great time. Oops, welcome

Hello Welcome to Fun, one little thought 3 months really is not that long to do justice to the tour you have in mind, have a rough plan do it at a comfortable pace, motorhomes are better at meandering rather than pushing on, keep asking questions lots of information on here. :welc:

Thanks all :) yes Carol we think we are begun a little ambitious with that route and will need to be more realistic as we start properly planning, so far we have only researched Norway, and it looks like we won't get too far up or we'll be there the full three months!

Not long enough!
August will be very hot in southern Europe, which may be very uncomfortable for the little one.

@Janeymonica Norway is beautiful but Expensive, the Voss region , Bergen and the Hardhager Fjord are great areas. and its roads make it a meandering area so short distances traveled / time on road ( relative to motorways that is )
