I guess you are just in the wrong place, we travelled across northern france into Germany and down through Switzerland then back into France. Currently in Toulouse and heading north again tomorrow. So far only rain has been at night, brill sunshine all day. I guess this may change as we drive north. Arriving lower Normandy middle to end of the week. I hope peter has apples, hee hee.

Enjoy the rest of your trip France is huge, enjoy it.

We spent last week just north of La Rochelle and had a great week now in the Limousin and it is very damp and misty.

There were loads of apples when we left week before last - we're hoping there'll be a few left when we get back in a If not, there's plenty of other things (spuds, beans, marrows, pumpkins ... )

And it's rained all week. However the sun has come out here in La Rochelle.

Have a laugh you two. Just imagine us in our Euramobil with Smartie on the trailer going round those collonaded streets with traffic in hot pursuit in hopes of a dramatic halt. Bob made it but we were shaken! Hope the sun does continue to shine from now on ::bigsmile: Jane, Bob and Izzy

It's not always that wet in France:Cool: .... we have been travelling around the North West regions for the last couple of weeks and had mixed weather but generally pretty good ... however it was p!$$!ng down when we left L'Ile de Re and travelled through La Rochelle yesterday morning. Now we have moved over Nantes for a few days and it's hot and sunny again:thumb:

But for how long? The forecast doesn't look good for tomorrow.

Well, we know it is a bit damp in the Limousin, but we needed it - the grass is gradually turning back to green again after a couple of months or so of sun, sun and more sun! Murohy's Law strikes again, though, as Di and I are taking a few days off next week and heading for y and in the 20sRoyan and the Gironde estuary, and the forecast is better in the Limousin than closer to the coast! Never mind, the weather when we get back is forecast to be sunny and in the 20s. No wnder we love it here! ::bigsmile:
