Saw my first Swallow of the year today. :)

PS. Be careful using Google to find out about the first swallow.
My sighting was of the feathered variety.

Reminds me of the time we were studying trench warfare of WW1. Some nice examples still visible on Salisbury Plain where we trained many of the commonwealth :)

One such feature of it is the gloryhole. A dugout at a bend where soldiers could post grenades on an advancing enemy should they be overrun :)

Try googling gloryhole and see what appears, I never knew half of what came up :Eeek::Eeek::Eeek::Eeek::Eeek:

Still have the mental scars too. It's my excuse to drink :wine::drink::clap2::cheers::beerchug:

Maybe the same pair we saw while walking along the coastal path near Challaborough!
