Hi. Just joined so thought I would say hello. Had our Motorhome about 9 months now previously towed a caravan. We are planning our first European trip 5 days in March Folkstone to Calais and then onto Bruge and would appreciate any advice and best sites to stay.

As they have said WELCOME.

Brugge is nice and the aire is very convenient for walking straight into town, if its only a couple of nights I would not look any further, if you need a change of scene Ypres is very nice as well and the municipal camping/aire is very convenient and can be booked.

When my wife a I bought our van last year we were advised to start with a few short trips to get used to the motor home life , that idea went out the window quickly as within 10days we were on a ferry crossing to France . Two months later we had travelled from Bruges , thru Luxembourg , down the east of France into the Alps then along the Mediterranean coast into northern Spain . We then decided to go and watch the Tour de France in the Pyrenees ,now that was exiting driving . Now we headed north staying exclusively in French passion sites . Wine , cheese , excellent food and great company , what's not to like . Then home , this is what can be your future , ENJOY. Ian and June .
