The last 2 times we stayed at Giffaumont Champaubert it was €6.00. That's the one at Lack du Derbyshire. Really nice place. As far as I remember Geraudot Aire was free but that was when Giffaumont was free too.

A short distance north of Metz is a free wooded aire, behind the tourist information office at the Amneville leisure complex. We use it whenever we're heading for Germany or that side of France.

The App or the Website POI?

The app. The POIs are free but a pain up the a**e to put into either of my two sat navs. I use the app and can click on the "directions to" button (think it is that) and that will link to my sat nav app which will give me directions to get there. And all without any internet.

Sorry @EX51SSS @Zigisla , no it's way out in the sticks ,nice rural aire ideal for cycle ride around the lake as it's alongside the cycle way / dotto train or dog walking. just the basics water ,wase dump 7 toilet emptying , large slightly sloping parking area.
You need to go there & be prepared to be self sufficient.
the same as geraudot aire ,but there is a campsite 100yrds away at that one ,so may be able to get bits there.

Well we walk the dog but we don't do cycles, ever. It was more to the point that the main site has lovely walks, shops and a couple of bars for that relaxing drink after a hectic day of just strolling along. I will certainly consider it for the odd night on passing though
