I left the 'van with Southern Motorhomes in Taplow so the could get it MOT'd for me. Well it passed with no advisories - it's done 23687 miles. Peace of mind for the next year. :thumb: Aparently, the test station were surprised that it had had 3 services in 23000 miles when the first was due at 18000 - was done at 12600, the second at 19500 - due at 36000 and the last one at 23500 - due at 54000. I just had it done every 12 months!

MOT's, Cost increase, and 2 new Checks?

656,
Good to here that your M/H passed MOT OK.
I have read that VOSA have from the 6Th of April 2009 increased MOT fees and included two new tests , that include visual inspection of tow bars, tow balls and number plates.
the towing attachment test will include corrosion, fractures or damage and wear and tear. suitability of the securing bolts and anchorage points. number plates will have to meet existing regulations or be replaced. See the VOSA website for details.

Hi

No tow bar fitted and plates meet all regulation, so no worries there.
