When I was younger :rolleyes: I always had what would be classed as 'normal' blood pressure. A year or so ago during an asthma check up my BP was quite high. I got an upper arm type to monitor it as requested. My BP came down again, doc was happier, I stopped checking it at home and I don't even know where the monitor is now.

Sometimes it can just be 'white coat syndrome' when at the doc's :worried:

Funnily enough the only time my BP was a bit high was in an asthma clinic. I had been in a stressful meeting immediately beforehand and had to rush to get to the clinic on time. Had it checked again a few days later and it was normal.
