Fire angel smoke detector (1 Viewer)

Hi the fire angel unit fitted on our motorhome even with a new battery sounds off even when kettle is boiling , have held button in for a couple of seconds but it still plays up , any Ideas

They can be a pain in the butt.. most probably nothing really wrong with it just very sensitive. .. try locating it to a different part of the van so it isn't in the direct path of fumes and steam etc off the hob...

As Andy says, best to just move it. One day you may be grateful for that sensitivity

We have one outside the kitchen door in our bungalow that goes off at the slightest whiff of steam.....it's driving me crazy but it's there for a reason so I will just have to put up with it and remember to close the kitchen door when cooking

Thanks for the replies folks , I find another location for it at the moment it's where it was fitted originally I guess, just next to door entrance wouldn't think of doing away with it just wondered if there were any issues with them will move it at the weekend. . Thanks again

Just waft it with a tea towel that will clear it and turn of the alarm
