We enjoyed a few days in Finland on our recent Scandinavia trip, visiting Santa Claus at Roveniami on Arctic Circle.

Just did north to south Finland, I didn't see mentioned the mozzies, in June they are pregnant and hungry, and these gals don't care if you have jungle formula anything.....you need a physical barrier , especially since there is 1.5 litres of them per person up north . Wild Camped along part of the Mannerheim line at battle sites and lay-bys, (and visited his HQ & comms centre based in a cave) even got the gennie out quite a few times as there was nobody around! Everymans right gives you access to most lakes etc for swimming and even boating.
And yes I was breathalysed for the first time ever, in the afternoon in the middle of nearly nowhere.........Clear of course
