not having much luck with a replacement tv
Finlux 22" 12v tv arrived this morning so took to the van to plug in and get a buzzing noise.
Plugged same cables into original MEOS TV and perfect. Swapped same cables/connection to Finlux and get a buzzing noise so know the set up/cables & connections are ok but tv not.
I spoke to Finlux who asked what it was plugged into and I told them it goes to the Oyster satellite by way of AV/Scart leads and coax cable.
They told me that their TVs are only guaranteed to work when connected to either a terrestrial aerial or a set top box.
Told them it was working and getting channel and image and sound but buzzing noise drowns out the sound.
She told me that they're not designed to go into a satellite receiver box.
Looks like it's going back.
