I wondered if anyone who had entered Finland from Estonia (Tallinn to Helsinki) could give us any tips about where to go in Finland?
.We'll be there second half of July and August although if I read much more about the mosquitoes we might have to adapt our plans....I'm ok but hubby swells up something rotten

Is this a difficult or expensive trip? Wondering why not many people seem to have done it (or responded)

We have almost decided not to go in the summer due to the awful stories of the mosquitoes in June to August. Back to the drawing board. Very disappointed

No need for campsite I was away 7 wks that area , only paid overnite once in Stockholm 60 swk for 2 nites . Sweden many many rastplaza , with free facilities ,but beware, ok all your cards before leaving , as both countries nigh on cash less society . Also beware of border area with Russia very tightly controlled by Finnish border patrols . Are you venturing to Finland ? Just Sweden , Denmark? And route 7 south out of Denmark if you go thru Hamburg go thru early in day major major roadworks ( Elbe tunnel ) till end of 2018

We hope to do a similar trip next summer. Didn't think about mosquitoes as we saw very few this year in Sweden and Norway and expected the same.
