..after a bit of a false start due to 'er indoors being kidnapped by Northampton General Hospital on Saturday. She's been given early parole for good behaviour so we're off this afternoon.

Not entirely sure where we're going or for how long yet. We won't get away until about 5.30 ish today so we're going to a Britstop we like tonight (422/17) and we'll make it up as we go along from there.

In Chester now, Little Roodee car park.

We're meeting some friends in North Lincolnshire on Friday so if anyone knows a good Britstop or similar roughly half way between here and there I'm open to suggestions.

We've ended up at another Britstop, a farm/farm shop this time, 574/17. First impressions are that it's great.

We've had a late lunch in the cafe and bought some stuff for later in the shop. It closes at 5 so we should be in for a quiet night. They're open for breakfast in the morning so we're going to sample that before moving on.
