Finally we have got away! (1 Viewer)

Well after the trials and tribulations of getting my wifes Schengen visa and of course missing the Italian Job meet we have finally (3rd time lucky) got away on our honeymoon part 2.

We left on Friday took the Eurotunnel and after the mandatory stop in Auchan for supplies set of for Camping Memling in Brugge, after 2 nights there and naturally consuming healthy amounts of waffles and beer we headed off Fussen in Bavaria via Hemsbach found a great campsite by chance by the lake.

We have now arrived in Fussen, Camping Hopfensee overlooking the Austrian Tirol. Will be hiring bikes tomorrow to go into Fussen itself. We are here for 2 nights then off to Lake Garda for 5 nights and after that onto Lake Geneva for 3 nights before returning home via Champagne

We are loving every minute of it:thumb:

Better late than never, and probably perfect timing not to get too hot on Garda.

Don't forget Sirmione, the cable car to Mt Baldo and lots of ice cream.
