Changes in using DVR facility

Greetings!

If you are using our free DVR facility, please note, that we are no longer able to support a Free DVR facility. If you wish to continue using this service please subscribe to a suitable DVR package. All existing recordings on the free DVR facility will be stored on our servers for 1 month, you can restore them and download using your PC/laptop. After 1 month they will be deleted.

Despite this it seems that up to 1 hour of recording is still available.

This was a great service, that I have only been using for a month, enabling stuff to be recorded on their server and then downloaded as a MP4 file when the site wifi is quiet and not upsetting others

Thanks but that has been on there since well before christmas. I could see and access a programme that I recorded last march at the time I noticed it. Be interesting to see if it will happen or if it a sort of reverse caveat.

Happened yesterday on ours, no more recording even though we only had 3 hrs on their server. One hour only now after downloading all the programes.

For information. Yesterday I subscribed to Filmon for a month. I need to keep my wife supplied with at least one scandy noir bit of pornography a week and was running out.

I was initially reluctant to subscribe as the default and phrasing suggests that you can only take up an open subscription with monthly recurring debits from your CC.

This is NOT so. You can buy a subscription (for same price) a month at a time.

To do it, click on buy DVR sub (I chose 10hrs for $9:99), next screen choose paypal or CC and there is a link saying something like “what is this” next to the bit that confirms what you are buying ie a subscription to do ……… This link when clicked says that you are agreeing to a monthly recurring charge UNLESS you check the adjacent box. If you check the box it is only for one month. I figure it is worth it for the months we are away, if only to keep the wife in gruesome murders.
