Does anyone have any experience of having one of these fitted or know anything about it.

We have an American 5th wheel which doesn't have a handbrake so we've been checking it out. Sounds like we need one to be legal.

Been in touch with STT and they've quoted £5,500 :Eeek::Eeek:

Thanks Geo - we might take you up on that :thumb:

I'm sure "the powers that be" would appreciate that we'd made the effort :ROFLMAO:

try NICHE MARKETING in lincolnshire.

their 5ers have electric service brakes and mechanical hand brakes. ( a simple throwover lever)

i believe STT use hydraulic/air brakes but i done know what type of hand brake(probably air) ie:- HGV trailers.

just thinking about the price they quoted, it sounds like a full trailer conversion to air and air supply compressor on pickup.

i think all their pickup/trailer deals are converted to air.(on trailer, pickup stays hydraulic)

john.
