Absolutely lovely trailer, which I first saw at P'bro about 10y ago (Barbara took a bit of persuading to go in as you had to take off your shoes (y) ).

We visited their factory and was very impressed with the build quality and ALMOST paid £35k for a pick-up truck & second-hand trailer on ebay :) .

However, their initial recommendation of an Izuzu pick-up was deemed underpowered and even the Nissan Navarro (which we test drove a couple of years later) has been complained about, with at least one buyer moving to a 5litre American beast. [None of this reflects too badly on the FWC BUT worth considering if you are a potential purchaser.]

We were advised by FWC that it was not designed for "moving on" type holidays. It is really better as a base-camp, remaining on site while you explore in your solo vehicle.

We looked at other 5ers at subsequent shows and researched some American vans, only to discover that weight-saving measures, such as drilling holes in the chassis, had resulted in catastrophic structural failures when drivers failed to avoid holes in the road. The cost of shipping the trailer back to the States would rest with the owner, although it is possible that an import company might offer support to their customers.

We ended up with a "standard" MH  . Each to their own - Gordon
