Fiat X250 exhaust mounting rubbers

    For anyone with a Fiat X250 chassis it may be worth having a look at the 4 rubber mounts that the exhaust hangs on, I noticed on mine this weekend that 2 of them are nearly torn right across I had a look at another motorhomers (Meanders) and they had 2 broken ones.
    They are a clever design in that they have a safety band that prevents the exhaust dropping if the rubber breaks so it isn't too disastrous.

    On searching the internet it is a common problem so well worth checking, I assume Peugeot's will be the same.

    had mine changed last week under warantee when in for two year service that's how long they last:Doh:

    You would expect them to last longer than two years.

    I've got a 2008 3 litre with less than 3000miles on it and i've had two go. i went to my local factor and they found some heavy duty ones to replace all 4. I wouldn't fit fiat ones again.

    I know this is an old thread, but still relevant...

    I had a "comment" on today's MOT about these being almost perished (2008 X250 2.3 TD). Just found these on ebay
