Fiat side direction indicator light (1 Viewer)

Hi,

my good friend bashed into his ducato side indicator light (the bit that sticks out on the front wing) and it fell off. Both he and I cannot fathom how to put it back. There seems no obvious way of it clicking back on and there appear to be no broken bits. This must come off to change the bulb but how it fits back is not obvious. Can any-one help?

On my Boxer (1997 - so perhaps same vehicle as Ducato) the wing indicators slide backwards to change a bulb so I would think you simply put it into hole and slide forward to replace.

Thanks for your reply. This is a 06 ducato and the side indicators are a triangle shape and stick out from the wing about 4 nor 5".
