Has anyone had any luck in getting fiat parts in Morocco?

Fanbelt and possibly water pump has failed on N1 between Ounara and El Jadida. Not getting much sense out of the fiat garage in Eljadida.

    Any ideas?

vehicle is on 2010 3.0 160hp Fiat Ducato maxi.

    Thanks

    jon

Good luck... Cant help, hope they have one somewhere,...
You wont want to hear this but when @makems needed a part back in 2013 it was 3 days delivery from Germany..
3 weeks customs clearance !!!!!! may have been longer :(

This will give it a bump.. maybe someone can help..

    More dealers in Casablanca..

A Brit managed to get some parts from the Fiat Dealer in Agadir last year. He had his mirror demolished which had swung back and smashed the quarter light too.
He managed to get all the parts over the counter.
I don't have any contact details but I am sure you can google them.
It's a big dealership on the main Agadir bypass so they should have the sort of parts you are looking for.
When we broke down we had a Merc base van and as Steve says, parts delivery from Germany was quick, but getting parts out of Customs took ages and cost a LOT (import duty was 100%)

    One up for Morocco IMO

We broke down at about 1230pm yesterday.

By 2pm today the parts were sourced ( put in a taxi from Casablanca) and reassembled.

Total bill 3500dh about £270. I think that is pretty impressive!
    1. We re now in Ocean Bleue at Mohammedia thinking about crossing back over tommorrow.

Excellent news - but I've always said they can fix anything in Morocco.

Hope, apart from mechanical problem, you enjoyed your trip.

Excellent news. I am really pleased for you. (y).

You've had a better breakdown service out in Morocco, than we've had in France and Belgium. :(

    Cheers,

    Jock. :)

Yes thanks, this is our third Morocco trip and despite the water pump problem and the issue with the gas regulator it has been the best yet.

We ve seen some wonderful sites, enjoyed the company of the Funsters and Non-funsters that we ve met and revelled in the great climate.

Thanks all, we ve got other plans for next year but hope to see many of you again in 2018.
