The pre-X250 is notorious for the horn failing. Almost certainly due to lack of use.

I've seen comments "You take the bumper off" "Pull the wires off and fit one elsewhere".

It's dead easy on my 2003 one.

1. Remove grill - 4 screws.
2. Remove NS headlamp - 2 screws and pull.

There is the horn before you.

Fix horn.....

Remove tone adjuster screw on top. Squirt contact cleaner down hole. Replace adjuster screw whilst someone holds horn push - sorted. Squirt something on the spade terminals while you are at it.
