Sorry, this will be vague... I only have cellular connection, and can't seem to upload photos using my phone.

I'm trying to get more of an understanding of the electrical in our van.

To start with. There is an electrical panel in the kitchen, with isolators for the two lighting circuits, and the water pump. However, I can't work out the fourth switch, it's the number 1 in a circle - 1⃣

Everything seems to work regardless of it being off or on.

Is it just a spare?

Secondly, the automatic isolator. Does it automatically disconnect when the ignition is turned off? Or is it based on a threshold voltage, and once below, it isolates main from leisure?

I'm considering upgrading the alternator, and I also considered running new large gauge wiring, (and possibly a new auto isolator as it's probably easier than integrating with the existing).View media item 21427
