I need to know the exact location of the engine number on a 2003 Fiat Ducato.

The vehicle handbook states the engine number is stamped on the cylinder block.

Can anybody enlighten me please?

All I can see on ours is a huge number on a sticker attached to the driver's side engine mount. Nothing in the instruction book index.

Its actually stamped into the engine block itself. Thats the BIG rusty bit under the bonnet.

You may need a mirror and a torch to actually see it.
