I have just taken ownership of a 2008 Fiat Chausson Welcome 17 and have cleaned and gutted it ready for the season. it would appear that the vehicle was rented out for a period although unused for the last 7 months and was not stored properly over the winter. There are signs of damp which I have cleaned up and the battery was completley flat (now working fine).

One issue however is I`m unable to get power to the rear. the panel above the door does not light. I have charged the touring battery and checked all fuses in cupboard although still nothing. On taking the panel off it does appear to have been repaired in the past as there are differant screws holding it in place. There it also no definate click on the main power button almost as if its been forced in (most likley someone over the rental period). Does anyone have any suggestions or have they required to have this part repaired in the past. Im unsure wher I can even get a spare from.

Hopeing you can help a newbie

    Regards

    Edmond
