The fiamma awnings have specific side panels... just Google and look at images..

There are other options though ... lighter weight windblocker panels

many many years! since I was a kid
How do they connect with the roller awning? Do you need extra bits to add onto it.? Sorry for being so dim on this lol x
you use spring loaded poles. the top of the side has a sleeve you slide over the pole. then one end of the pole sits into the front bar of the awning, the other into the box. the front panel slides into the channel on the front edge
the safari/privacy rooms are very heavy. most people now use the lightweight ones like those from lillypad leisure and they are also a fraction of the price

The privacy rooms are heavy and we wouldn't have one .. but in fairness the end panels are quite good. Pretty solid with a good window and once fitted are pretty robust. We have a couple but would only use them if we were somewhere for a period of time and didn't want a drive away awning out. The lilly pad ones are great and lightweight but we would not get them as we just don't like the look of them .. a bit marmite for us.

In the privacy room kit, there are two arms that locate into your awning assembly, and grip the fabric. These arms have a groove that the side panels slide into. If you look at the lower edge on the front of your awning, there is a groove, this is where the front panel slides into. It maybe easier to watch the Fiamma video on how to fit the privacy room, see here:

Wow thankyou so much for all your wonderful help and the video about the awning room.... I have read not many motorhomers use them but will consider them and look on the lillepad sight as well... It all looked so easy on the video. x
