Since April 1846 but have always camped.
I've oiled everything in sight and it is a bit better but still not great, does anyone know if I take off the plastic end caps (it looks as tho there is only one screw) is there anything in there that I can actually get too to oil? It is an electric awning and the motor is to the rear.
Many thanks.

If you give Glenn or Darren a ring on Monday, they will be able to help you. They are both at Peterborough Show at the moment.

only thing behind the end cap will be the motor and gearbox.

gearbox should be factory lubricated and sealed for life.

sounds like a bad earth, knackered battery or failing motor to me.

is it any better on hookup ?

No it isn't . I spoke to timberland a while ago and they thought that they had a batch with faulty motors, however they quoted me £250 for a new motor so I may have to persevere with a handle for a while.
Cheers.

Would have thought that it was a warranty issue then !

slightly off topic
my elderly sister on a visit here from Australia putchased some sausage meat from Asda store in town
when opening the plastic roll of meat she saw some thing in the meat inside the packaging poking through the meat
she was so upset that this had happened as she could not make the meal she had thought of making as she could not use the product with this contaminate in side it

she phoned the store who were so very apologetic that the manager and assistant drove 7 miles to my home with replacement product
a large bunch of flowers a box of chocolates and bottle of fizzy wine
as an apology for the product not being as it should

as she showed the Asda team the offending product she pushed the plastic to expose the meat when she realized the thing she thought was a contaminate was the internal side of the outer packaging

i have never seen some one go so pail in the face so quick

the Asda staff had a good laugh and took it in good spirit

we got the goodies as they had not laughed so much in ages
