Hello, we have a Vivaro van conversion. Just been looking at ferry fares and noticed there's a massive difference in price for the same crossings if I put our vehicle in as a van rather than a motorhome.
Has anyone tried this? Is there a reason for the difference that I'm not aware of?

What's the worst that can happen? They wag their finger and ask you to pay the difference?

With our previous van, also a Vivaro, we always went as a campervan or MoHo, which I thought was cheaper than a van anyway. Not sure now

Any van to IOM is almost twice the price for a M/H. Vans are deemed as commercial even private ones

There might be a market for magnetic, window 'lookalikes' to be stuck on the side of the van. Then, who would know:xThumb:
